You do not need to hire a local SEO specialist to sell local SEO.
Most agencies arrive at white-label the same way. A retainer client asks for local SEO, or a web build turns into an ongoing ranking conversation, and suddenly you are quoting work that needs a specialist you do not have on payroll. Hiring takes three months and a salary you cannot justify on one account. Turning the work away hands a competitor a reason to talk to your client.
The other failure mode is quieter. You take the work, you do it yourself between other projects, and the quality drifts — not because you are careless, but because local SEO is a weekly discipline and you have eleven other clients. Six months later the client cannot see movement and the whole retainer is at risk, including the parts you were doing well.
White-label fixes the capacity problem without the headcount. You sell at your rate, we deliver at wholesale, and the gap is your margin. The client sees your brand on every deliverable, every report and every piece of correspondence. We never appear in the thread.
Three ways to add local SEO capacity.
| Hiring in-house | Freelance marketplace | Certified Locals white-label | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to first deliverable | 8–14 weeks | 1–3 weeks, variable | 5 business days |
| Monthly cost at one client | $5,000+ salary and overhead | $300–900, quality varies | Wholesale per account |
| Scales down when a client churns | No — the salary continues | Yes | Yes — month to month |
| Who talks to your client | Your employee | Often the freelancer directly | Nobody. Only you. |
| Reporting | Built by you | Screenshots, usually | White-labeled PDF in your branding |
| Niche depth | Whatever you hire | Generalist | Home services and high-ticket remodeling |
Five days from brief to first deliverable.
No onboarding theatre. You send what you have, we tell you what we found, you decide what to sell.
1. You send the brief
Client URL, target market, the services they sell and whatever access you already hold. If you do not have access yet we will tell you exactly what to request so you only ask the client once.
2. We audit and scope
Within 72 hours you get a technical audit, a keyword and competitor map, and a scoped monthly plan with wholesale pricing. It is written in your voice, unbranded, ready to forward or paste into your own proposal.
3. We deliver under your name
Content, on-page, profile optimization, citations, link work and reporting. Deliverables arrive in your branding on your schedule. We never contact the client, and nothing we produce carries our name.
What you can resell.
Take the whole stack or individual deliverables. Most partners start with audits and content, then add profile and reporting once the first account proves out.
- Technical audits with prioritized remediation lists
- Keyword research and competitor gap mapping
- Content briefs and finished on-page content
- Geo and service landing page builds
- Google Business Profile optimization and weekly posting
- Review generation workflows and response templates
- Citation building and NAP cleanup
- Schema implementation and validation
- Core Web Vitals remediation
- Monthly white-labeled reporting in your branding
- Call tracking setup and attribution mapping
- Strategy calls you can join, with us briefed to stay silent on identity
Wholesale pricing, month to month, no exclusivity.
Our wholesale rate sits well below what the work sells for, which is the point — the spread is your margin and we do not police what you charge. Partners typically resell at two to three times wholesale, and the ones doing best position it as their own specialist service line rather than as outsourcing.
There is no minimum commitment and no exclusivity requirement. Month to month, cancel with thirty days. If a client churns you stop paying for that account immediately, which is the single biggest advantage over a hire.
We also hold one limitation openly: we work in home services and high-ticket remodeling. Windows and doors, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and bath. If you bring us a dental group or a law firm we will tell you it is outside our depth rather than take the account and learn on your client’s budget.
Reports a contractor can read in ninety seconds.
The part partners underestimate is reporting. Local SEO produces a lot of movement that looks impressive and means nothing — impressions, average position, total keywords tracked. Hand that to a contractor and they will nod politely and quietly start questioning the retainer, because none of it maps to the thing they care about, which is whether the phone rang.
So every account gets a one-page monthly report in your branding: ranking by keyword and by city, map pack position, calls, form fills, and a plain-language note on what changed and what we did. No dashboard logins, no forty-page PDF nobody reads. Your client should be able to understand the month in ninety seconds while standing in a parking lot.
You also get a separate internal note that the client never sees — where we think the account is weak, what we would do with more budget, what competitors are doing that you should know about. That is the context you need for a renewal conversation, and it is not information that belongs in front of the client unedited.
The things people ask before they hire.
No. We do not contact your client, our name does not appear on any deliverable, reports are produced in your branding, and we do not list partner agencies or their clients as references anywhere. If you want us on a strategy call we join as part of your team and we do not volunteer who we are.
First deliverable inside five business days of receiving the brief and access. The audit and scope come back within 72 hours of the brief alone, so you can usually get a proposal in front of your client before access is even granted.
Wholesale sits meaningfully below our direct retail pricing and scales with scope and location count. Request the partner rate card and you get the full sheet with no call required — we would rather you can price a proposal at 9pm than wait on a meeting.
No. One account is fine. There is no volume minimum, no onboarding fee and no annual contract. Partners who send consistent volume get priority turnaround, but that is earned rather than contracted.
Your client does, always, with you as a manager. We work as an additional user and that access can be revoked at any time without breaking anything. We will not create a profile or an Ads account under our own ownership — that practice holds clients hostage and we do not do it.
You join the call and we brief you beforehand, or we join as a member of your team. Most partners prefer the first for the first few months and the second once they trust us. Either way the client is talking to your agency.
Anything outside home services and high-ticket remodeling. We decline medical, legal, ecommerce, SaaS and national campaigns. Narrow depth is the reason the work performs; taking everything would end that.
Yes, and we would rather than rebuild. We work in WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Duda and most custom stacks. If the platform genuinely blocks the work — some proprietary contractor platforms do — we will say so in the audit with the specific limitation named.
A monthly one-page PDF in your branding: ranking movement by keyword and city, map pack position, calls and form fills, and what we did that month. Plus a short internal note to you with context you may not want to put in front of the client.
We work in US and Canadian markets in English. We do not currently deliver in other languages, and we will not take a market we cannot research properly.
You hear it from us before you hear it from your client. If an account is underperforming at month four we tell you why, what we are changing, and whether we think the budget is wrong for the market. We would rather lose one account honestly than keep it and have you lose the relationship.
Yes, and most partners should. Send one client’s site for a paid audit. You get the full technical and competitive picture to use however you like, and you get a clear read on our work before you put a retainer in front of anyone.
